A Pilgrimage Into Tibet
To acknowledge the 60 year freedom struggle of the Tibetan people and their leader, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, eight intrepid pilgrims take on an epic pilgrimage trek through remote Nepal into occupied Tibet, to walk around Mount Kailash, Asia’s most sacred mountain. Confronting altitude, officialdom and their own physical limits, their journey reveals seldom seen experiences of todays’ Nepal and Tibet. in summer 2019.

Mark Gould is a producer, writer and director with a lifetime’s experience in Australian theatre, film and television. Mark has run his own production company for the past 25 years, as well as contract stints within the ABC producing and direction for 4 Corners, Foreign Correspondent and Compass.
In the last 2 years he made over 140 short videos for the web in the fight to stem the tide of neo-liberal destruction in Sydney.
His documentaries have been commissioned nationally and internationally by the BBC, ABC, SBS, Nat Geo, Arte, YLE, RBTF, RTE and others.
