Sybil D. Jatta is a graduate of Arizona State University, BA, and a Masters Degree in Education. She has a rich background in Theater, Musical Theater Productions, Tours, Writing, Singing, Directing and Producing. Her first ever 5 minute short film entitled "A Bullet Don't Got no Name", took us to her days as a teacher at the world famous Crenshaw High School. One of her favorite students gets shot in the head and survives. Richard Lawson featured her film in his short film festival event. Her current full length feature film "Akwaaba The Awakening" has garnished prestigious awards from more than 30 top film festivals around the world.
