Recorders Play Jewish Music
This film delves into the importance of music in Judaism, the benefits to children of learning to play the recorder, and the development and use of a unique recorder method book for children, containing solely Jewish music and related anecdotes.
The film was commissioned by RUACH, a nonprofit in Milwaukee whose mission is the advancement of arts and music in the Jewish community and, in particular, to awaken creativity through arts enrichment rooted in Jewish values.
