Nala

“Nala” is a film that explores the complex process of grieving, inspired by the Director’s personal experience of loss through his daughter. The movie features the exceptional talent of cinematographer Justin Ervin, an original score composed by Andrew Ryan, and the captivating dance performance of renowned artist PeiJu Chien-Pott. Through a progression from the public to the private realm, the film conveys the profound impact of trauma, as well as the conflict between hopelessness and resilience through movement. The overwhelming emotions that initially consume the protagonist gradually become subdued and integrated into the surrounding natural environment.
