Jasmine Jewet
This Brooklyn born creative decided to be a filmmaker after graduating from Howard University in 2014 with a B.A. in Radio TV & Film. Her unique talent and eye for visuals drew her to enroll and graduate from SCAD-Atlanta in 2017 with a M.F.A in TV & Film where she directed and edited multiple shorts and commercials.
Inspired by prolific female visionaries like Ava Duvernay; Jasmine’s films have been selected in multiple film festivals around the country, even garnering semi finalist nominations. Some of Jasmine’s work has won Best Actress with the film “Daddy's Girl” as well as being featured in Bronze Lens Film Festival for the short docu-series “Been a SneakHerhead”.
Recently, Jasmine has worked as Director's Assistant on four network shows including Ambitions on OWN, Bigger on BET +, Teenage Bounty Hunters on Netflix, and Legacies on The CW. She's excited to keep working and creating and to get CAKE out into the world!
