My Radio My Life
Set in the 21st century, the film transports viewers to India’s heyday of radio, when it reigned supreme as the primary source of entertainment, news, and enlightenment.
With its ability to transcend borders, radio has profoundly impacted generations, broadening horizons and fostering connections. Beyond mere companionship, it united families and inspired life-altering decisions.
Through diverse narratives, we encounter a spectrum of individuals: from a Voice of America announcer who relayed the historic Apollo 11 moon landing, to a woman who found both purpose and love through radio. An octogenarian’s quest to revive his cherished valve radio set, a preservationist curating radio memories in a museum, and a woman liberated by her passion for HAM radio, culminating in winning the prestigious Presidential Award, are among the captivating stories shared.
Despite its perceived obsolescence, radio’s allure persists, evolving alongside technology while preserving the nostalgic sentiments of bygone eras.
